BALLROOM DANCING
(Fridays at 10:30am – 11:30am)
Starting February 20th Ballroom dancing is back!
Become a master of the waltz this introductory course. Be sure to bring a partner and if you don’t have one you’ll be partnered up with someone during the class! Get ready to move and groove with us in our ballroom dancing class.
We are also offering a Buy 1 Get One Free sale for signups for this class. So if you sign up with a partner, your partner’s ticket is free!
DATES: Feb 20th, 27th, March 5th, 12th
TIME: 10:30AM – 11:30AM
$45 +tax for all 4 classes and $33 for members. Pre-register online or in person.

Get ready to move and groove with us in our ballroom dancing class. Alex is a trained ballroom dancer, actor and performer with noted appearances in Sault Ste Marie Musicals like Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Become a master of the waltz this introductory course. Be sure to bring a partner and if you don’t have one you’ll be partnered up with someone !
The Bushplane Museum’s 55+ Walk With Us Program begins this October 13th 2026. With an all new theme and set of milestones!
Our indoor walking program experience offers a unique space for older adults to stay active during the colder months. Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee and some light refreshments. Catch up with friends new and old. But most importantly get moving!
Together we set fitness goals, with measured laps around the Bushplane hangar. Our facility is accessible by wheelchair and walking stick, with many benches and chairs at strategic locations for rest breaks.
We firmly believe in everyone moving at their own pace and capability. Whether that means you take 1 lap around the museum or 20, that’s completely up to you!
