Education

Hands-on Educational Programs

The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre has developed quality educational programming to enhance and consolidate curriculum-based topics. Our entertaining and caring team facilitates hands-on learning in a nurturing and captivating environment. Our museum is highly interactive and accessible, providing a stimulating and welcoming learning environment for all children.

School Tours

School programs and tours can be geared towards the needs of the teacher and/or students based on grade level. In addition, teachers can choose for programming to be delivered on-site at the Bushplane Museum, in-class or virtually.

Kids Club

Weekly Kids Club activities are STEM-based and free for members. They offer a hands-on way for kids to discover new topics through crafts, stories and play. Kids Club programming is available Wednesdays and Sundays: Sky Explorers is offered Sunday afternoons and is geared towards school-aged children. Tiny Pilots runs Wednesday afternoons and is targeted at preschool children and their parents. Kids Club programming runs from September to May. See our Events Calendar for weekly activities.

Summer Camps

Summer Camps make summer learning fun! Themed camps are geared towards children aged 6-10 years and incorporate crafts, physical activity, games, experimentation and guest speakers.
