Event Coordinator Supervisor

Summary

The Event Assistant is considered a supervisory role and works directly with the Event & Promotions Manager. This role oversees the setup and take down of events, manages events in progress and is trained in the selling, touring and planning of client events (weddings, meetings, training sessions, socials, etc.).  

Job Specifications

  1. Ability to direct and oversee other team members to ensure a seamless event. 
  2. Proven interpersonal skills with a history of customer service excellence. 
  3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  4. Strong judgement, decision-making and problem-solving. 
  5. Previous experience bartending or serving, or co-ordinating large events. 
  6. Experience processing cash and debit/credit transactions. 
  7. Flexible availability including weekends and evenings. 
  8. Gregarious and outgoing personality, strong attention to detail and scheduling flexibility.  
  9. Prudent and appropriate human resource interaction, 
  10. Demonstrated innovation and creativity in solving challenges, 
  11. Ability to regularly meet or exceed established objectives, and 
  12. Good written and verbal communication skills 
  13. Ability to drive a tractor  
  14. Smart Serve  

Responsibilities

This position offers a dynamic and engaging role where you’ll play a key part in bringing events to life. You’ll be one of the go-to people during events, making sure everything runs smoothly, from answering guest questions and solving any hiccups to ensuring everyone’s safety. You’ll also get your hands on setting up the venue to match the vision of each event, which means arranging everything from tables and chairs to stages.

You’ll be working closely with the Events & Promotions Manager, helping out with client meetings, planning, tours, and even booking events, all while keeping on top of the paperwork like contracts and invoicing according to CBHC’s guidelines.

Wages & Benefits

$19-$20/hr
25-30 hours/week, hours include evenings  and weekends.
Health and dental benefits after six months.
