The second annual True North Baby Expo is taking place April 21st and 22nd at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, where you can expect to find everything pregnancy-, childhood- and parenting-related.

Friday evening is the new “After Dark” event from 6–9 PM and will feature a Drag Performance by the Sault’s own Back Door Betty and Lana Von Archer.  There will also be vendor shopping, tarot card readings, and a boudoir photography demo with Emiyla Photography.

The After Dark event is sponsored by Amore For Your Pleasure and Algoma Makers Market, and is an 18+ event.

The day will include shopping from all of your favourite local small businesses and even some who are making the trip from Sudbury!  From handmade jewelry to heirloom quality wooden toys, to baby gear, to thrift children’s clothing, there is something for everyone.  

Jenka Clothing will be popping up with her Spring Athletic Wear collection which includes new pregnancy-friendly leggings that are ideal for expecting mothers.  

There will be lots of tasty treats on-site from Roolz Cotton Candy, The Sweetest Slice and Hogan’s Homestead.

In addition to shopping there will also be local healthcare professionals present to help you on various topics from pregnancy through to childhood.  Some of the topics include:

Capture a special moment with Cbaum Photographywho will be set up doing “Mom & Me” Mini photoshoots at a cost of $30 for 1-5 edited photos.

Kids will have a great time attending as well.  There will be free kids’ activities throughout the day like face painting, and arts and crafts.
