The Event Assistant is considered a supervisory role and works directly with the Event & Promotions Manager. This role oversees the setup and take down of events, manages events in progress and is trained in the selling, touring and planning of client events (weddings, meetings, training sessions, socials, etc.).
This position offers a dynamic and engaging role where you’ll play a key part in bringing events to life. You’ll be one of the go-to people during events, making sure everything runs smoothly, from answering guest questions and solving any hiccups to ensuring everyone’s safety. You’ll also get your hands on setting up the venue to match the vision of each event, which means arranging everything from tables and chairs to stages.
You’ll be working closely with the Events & Promotions Manager, helping out with client meetings, planning, tours, and even booking events, all while keeping on top of the paperwork like contracts and invoicing according to CBHC’s guidelines.
