The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre is launching Art on the Apron as part of our inaugural Summer Takes Flight Festival and we are inviting artists, makers, and vendors to be part of it.
Summer Takes Flight kicks off June 11 with Cory Marks live in concert, that kicks off our Food Truck Thursdays. June 12 features hands-on art programming and creative experiences, leading into our two-day outdoor vendor market held directly on the museum’s waterfront apron.
Art on the Apron takes place June 13 and 14 from 10am – 4pm and is designed to draw both local residents and out-of-town visitors for a high-energy summer kickoff. This is a rain or shine outdoor event.
Each vendor space is $125.00 for the weekend and is given a 10 ft x 10 ft spot. Vendors are required to supply their own tent. A 6 ft table will be provided within your designated space.
If you are a creator, artisan, or vendor looking to be part of something new and exciting on the waterfront, we invite you to apply below.
This event is a fundraiser supporting the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre’s capital campaign, including our roof replacement project
and other essential facility upgrades that ensure the long-term sustainability of the museum.
