Build a DHC-2 Beaver Model Clinic

Have you ever wanted to build your own De Havilland Beaver model? Now is your chance to learn from a master model builder—direct from Osborn Model Kits!

Build a wooden scale model of a DHC-2 Beaver—no prior modeling experience necessary. This clinic is for ages 12 and up and costs $25.00 per person/kit, with a limit of 12 per class (Adults may build one with their child). The cost includes a model kit and all the accessories to build the model.

There will be two clinics approximately 3 hours long, running at 9:30 AM–12:30 PM and 1:30 PM–4:30 PM.

Modelers will be building a (1:66 Scale) model of the De Havilland Beaver made of wood which interlock together mostly without the use of glue (some white glue will be used). Once the model is built, it can be painted; decals can then be added to complete the model. Modelers will be using nontoxic acrylic paints, and will need to use a utility knife to cut parts out (Adult supervision may be required using knife). Modelers will get their hands dirty and maybe a bit dusty from sanding—but the clinic should be a lot of fun!

These models are robust enough to play with after they are finished, or they can be displayed on a shelf.

Pre-registration is required to participate, so contact the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre at 705-945-6242 x204, or rdownes@bushplane.com.
